You will say ‘goodbye’
And that will be the last time
You see someone
And even if they’re loved
No thing can stop the process
It’s already done
You’ve spent so many days
Wasting time so many ways
Is wasting time a sin?
No, sins aren’t real
And time -is on the edge there too
They’re things you can’t collect
Yet try so hard to tuck away
And convince yourself are true
You’ve spent so many days
Wasting time so many ways
If there comes a day
We find the words of ‘God’
You know, the thing
That started it all
They’ll most likely read
Quite quickly from a sticky note
Where the following is scrawled:
To any conscious being
Any understanding kind
That may ever ask a question
Like how, or when, or why
That’s the priceless gift I leave you
Every second you’re alive
-And P.S. -It’s power has no limit
Think me away
I really don’t mind
That’s the point anyhow
You’ve gotta go in blind
You’ll account for your existence
That’s all that I can say
‘Cause that’s all that I know
Now I’ve shown you the way
Gravitational rules
Aren’t pinning us down like fools
We drift through space
And through time
Perception is so divine
...Color it in
Sing it aloud
Conjure it up
Whittle it down
Take it apart
To see what it shows
There’s never an end
And over we go to...
Life only makes sense to you
You’ve questioned things
And answered too
You’ve found the stuff
You knew was good
And held it tight just like you should
But don’t forget what got you there
Inquiry, though, unaware
The weight of thoughts
That don’t make sense
Can be set down with recompense
Just don’t assume that anyone
Need share your “right”
Or else they’re “wrong”
Your answer’s only your position
Just as you speak, you have to listen
And when a thought
Might challenge you
Take the time to think it through
Don’t be afraid to change your mind
Every contradiction
Leaves the old behind

This recording makes a great workout companion! All tracks exercise my mind while I'm power walking the hills where I live in Massachusetts. Keeps the feet moving for my daily 3 miles. Thank you MFTJ and all Keneally music. rondidonato

I have been a huge fan of the great MIKE KENEALLY for many years. He is such a brilliant talent! I’m really really enjoying the latest MFTJ album a great deal. “What Wally Thinks” and “I Remember When Candy Bars Were A Nickel” respectively are a perfect one-two punch to open up an album! I’ll be enjoying this one for a long long time!! Danny Cavazzi

2001... it was probably just a couple of years since I first listened to MK's music!
Thanks for all you've written/published before/since then, maestro Mike! nespalex
